Here is what our volunteers say:

I volunteered for the Hemp Legacy Foundation and it touched my heart to see the families affected by the way this program embraced everyone. The out-pouring of love and generosity from the volunteers as well as the people attending was priceless. The excitement and gratitude I heard and saw in their faces stays with me on my journey.

It was an infectious Joy that spread to everyone involved. It opened up opportunity for me to donate my money as well as my time and to encourage others to do the same. It reminds me of how much I have to be grateful for. It’s interesting to think about the fact that the people who have the least are the happiest because they know what it means to be in this together!

I am very picky about the organizations I volunteer my time and donate my money to, and this is the top of my list!

When Heidi asked me years ago if I wanted to help with a Christmas program, I did not realize what it would grow into, or did I realize what an impact it would have on my life and my grandchildren’s lives.

It has now become the H.E.M.P. Legacy Foundation, and my grandkids, my husband and I can’t tell you how blessed we are by the people that we serve. When they thank us for taking the time to go down and serve them you can see it in their eyes and hear it in their voice how grateful they are.

My grandchildren were 5 and 6 when we first served, they are now 10 and 11 and have not missed a year donating their time and look forward to it each year. Thanks to the H.E.M.P. Legacy Foundation for giving us such a blessed opportunity to serve.

I just want to say a few words about Doug and Heidi Hemp and The Hemp Legacy Foundation. The girls and I have been serving alongside of them for many years.

Everything this foundation is about is uplifting to anyone who comes alongside of it. From giving out a toothbrush to the homeless or putting on full programs blessing hundreds in need, Everyone always goes away with a beautiful smile on their face for all the gratitude that this foundation gives. This foundation is built on integrity and working with them and all of the volunteers just keeps getting better and better.

There are not many rest days in between helping someone with food or a single mother who needs diapers or clothes. No matter how big or small the request is, Heidi always “makes it happen.” That is what the girls and I love about this foundation and this wonderful couple. We love you Heidi and Doug and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Thank you for letting us serve alongside,
Tonnie, Jaycee & Alyssa

We have supported the Hemp Legacy Foundation since its inception, and we will continue to contribute our time, talents and financial support.

The H.E.M.P. Legacy Foundation serves individuals who come from abusive and destructive situations. Most of whom have no sense of what a normal non-abusive life looks like.

Our first program that we helped with was a Christmas celebration party including a turkey dinner, gifts of sample sized hygiene products and Christmas cards for helping the attendees to communicate with their families and children. Some of these people hadn’t had any contact with their families for many years. It has since grown to help thousands of attendees, and is held several times annually.

We never know when we will be called by our Lord to be his hands and feet. The rewards we have received by volunteering and donating to the H.E.M.P. Legacy Foundation can be seen in the people’s eyes and hearts that we serve, and is worth twice what we have contributed.

We are pleased that the Hemp Legacy Foundation has been established and it is our prayer that it will continue to grow for many years to come.

Sincerely,
Dr. Earl and Nancy Campbell

Volunteering at the H.E.M.P. Legacy Foundation programs has given me a new purpose in life. It’s fun to shop during the year for hygiene items and to see the faces of the participants when they receive them.

I am proof that even at 84 years young you can still make a difference in not only others’ lives but in your own as well!
