Christmas with a Cause started as a holiday dinner for residents of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, evolving into a vital part of Arizona Hygiene for Hope. Initially planned for 306 residents, we served over 900 meals, including many individuals experiencing homelessness.

Now, we partner with rehabilitation centers, halfway houses, sober living facilities, and agencies supporting young adults aged 18-21 who have aged out of the foster system, as well as families living below the poverty line. Referrals come from local churches, fire departments, and police stations.

This program has transformed into a festive Christmas Extravaganza, serving over 10,000 individuals annually. It alleviates feelings of shame and despair by allowing participants to give gifts without financial strain, fostering self-esteem and joy.

We provide gifts for all family members and even handle packing and shipping for those with children out of state. Designed like a shopping mall, families receive a credit card to shop freely among 30-40 stores, creating an exciting and joyful atmosphere.
